Hi all, acorn_ here. It's been years since I've had to mess with environmental variables and I'm trying to set them up for a friends computer so he can execute .jar files and no matter what I do it seems not to work.
My assumption is maybe I need JRE's file path set as well rather then just JDK, maybe? Not sure it's been about 5 or 6 yrs haha.
here's his system info and current path settings unchanged.

Or if anyone has a copy of lin's automatic variable setter that would be amazing!! Thanks in advance for anyones help. Currently I just get a blank CMD prompt flash and dissapear when trying to open .jar files after setting the variables. Also I don't think CMD is reconigizing any commands even as simple as -a or ipconfig and you guessed it does not reconigize anything as an internal or external command. sorry this is so nooby, thanks
