(PI) Error Connecting To Server (Mac OS X) (Client)
    « on: April 12, 2015, 03:06:15 PM »
    Hi,

I am trying to login to my RSPS, but I get an error which is "Error connecting to server" on my MAC, the cache downloads fine and everything works on a Windows computer, but I cannot Login into the server.... The server leaves no trace of error.

Like I said; Cache Auto-Downloads perfectly fine, extracts and loads the client, then, when I TRY TO ENTER MY USER/PASS and hit log-in.... it says; Error connecting to server. That's it.
Anyhelp would be greatly appreciated guys.
    Thanks.

u check ur ports in ur server and to ur client? make sure they are the same in the server as they are the client and make sure ur ip is set as 127.0.0.1(localhost) in the source and the client..

So what you're saying is that you can connect to your server through windows, but cannot connect through a Mac?

May I ask where your cache is being downloaded for you Mac? user.home?

It's not unique. You wanna know why there's no server out there like it?
    That Logic doe....

The ip is perfectly set, it's working as far as IP goes.
    Cache is set to user.home

Some suggestions, purely speculating as it's a weird error:

    1. Make a .command to run the jar to see if you get any errors.

    2. If you can't run the jar, you may have jarred it wrong or you don't have the right java version or no java (oracle) at all.

Jar is working perfectly fine, opens up, loads the cache, comes to the login screen, then.... When I try to type in my password to login, it say's; "Error connecting to server"
