Once again that's false, there's so many fields in website development that don't require the use of JavaScript.

you say false like an opinion can be factual

imo you aren't the real web dev until you have client and server-side but i guess the job postings say otherwise

Don't say retarded statements as though they're facts and I won't treat them like it.

Maybe 4/5 out of 20 odds ask for a knowledge in JS. A PHP developer is still considered a website developer. I guess the job postings say otherwise.

David, it was a quick mockup that I made.

Also I'd say remove all awards on post-profiles. Let them be visible when people go to a user profile, yeah - but this sort of stuff is silly:

Something like this may work well:

I kind of like that idea, but as to any type of code changes, no need for multi-forum support VASTLY simplifies forum upgrades, so I plan on upgrading and keeping the entire /smf/ directory in a public github repo, so anyone will be able to suggest and implement changes, and I will only have to accept the pull request or patch. :)

This, combined with the scrolling over to see what the badge is for, would probably be the most ideal.

If it was left centered like it is currently, then IMO that would look good.

Just what you had before... the really small icons in a 3 by X grid so that it doesn't extend past the normal width.

????? The normal width meaning the width of the actual content, not including the spacing, ya dingus!

Thats the main reason I liked the idea.

That leaves quite a lot of empty space in the profile area, though. Doing it the way I showed above keeps the badges the same size (makes them stand out more than if they were small) but still fits 3 times as many in the same space.

And it also looks stupid as fuck? The empty space is there for a reason.

If you're gunna use the larger icons, do 2 not 3 so that it isnt wider than the current full badges at least. But I still think the smaller ones look 10x better

Yeah, nothing here will get done, minus maybe the smaller icons. I think it would be like a one line edit to allow the whole overflow to the next line aspect too.
    i won the forum
