Starting to learn how the object loading works: (managed to change the loaded object)


Soon gonna go build the ditch.. but before that I will try to find a way to convert the dumped files, so I wouldnt waste so much time on manually doing things..

1 pretty important thing left to figure out... theres something which defines the code lenght, so i cant change for ex. 863 to 7692, it wont work!

PS. Glad I have 459 Object list :)

PS. Do I have to do anything server-side to spawn the ditch?? and why the client dl actually has 2 clients??

Is the problem client sided anyway?? because the server says this on start: REMAINDER: Fix the 508+ objects dumped lul.

it seems to load new floormaps, but not objectmaps?

Watch the end of that video I posted it clearly explains how to do it. If you can't even give yourself rights that's kinda sad.

I was playing on it, and all the sudden it died and I'm like W.T.F?

What happened to the server, then I look here and it's out in the public.
I had fun, really great server. If your making a next I'd like to help develop.

next i need to find out how spawning different object types work.. ex. ditch is different from normal object, so i currently cant spawn it. (or if its just one big object, then im not sure)

EDIT:

already 8 different object types identified, and atleast 8 left to identify, but gonna do that tomorrow...
