    Common problems:

    Giving Yourself rights : First go in to your source, src>com>rs>game>player> player.java CTRL + F "King_Zenith" Change to your name save and compile.

    Stuck at 1% : If you try and host this change both files "client.java" "loader.java" in the client folder CTRL + F "127.0.0.1" to your ip save compile and jar it then send to a friend it should work, and you just play on localhost.jar, THIS IS WHAT I DID

    Okay, for the life of me I cant find out how to edit the item stats to make them into 1 hit kill weapons. I believe you have to edit the itemdefenitions file but it is a .dat and I tried opening in netbeans ide and eclipse ide java ee and still I get a bunch of symbols. How the **** do you open that correctly!!!!

    Read my post, don't host your no-ip from computer have 2 seperate clients 1 with your no-ip 1 with 127.0.0.1 for you the no-ip for players

    umm... i'm obviously dumb or something.. because i edited the ip's to 127.0.0.1 in the loader.java and client.java and compiled it... and it's still not working.. do you edit the ip in the source.. cause it's been a while since i did a server like this.. i'll prolly facepalm like a boss after someone tells me.. thanks though..

    Sorry but I'm having a problem when It comes to selling things to the store. Without that ability its kind of hard to have a server, because There are almost no ways to make money without that. I'm working on fixing up the server completely, changing up skills and other things - I mainly want the graphics and the bosses. I don't want to waste my time though if I can't figure out how to get shops to buy things for certain prices.

    Does anyone know how to fix this problem?


    I found this code in shop.java which I believe has something to do with the problem, I just dont have a clue on how to fix it.

    Line 216 of Shop.java (com.rs.game.player.content.Shop) has an issue with division by zero.

    If anyone needs help with it, there's a simple fix. You have to replace:

    int maxQuantity = amountCoins / price;With:
    Code: [Select]
    int maxQuantity = 0;
    try {
    maxQuantity = amountCoins / price;
    } catch (ArithmeticException e) { // catch divide-by-zero
    maxQuantity = 0;
    }

    EDIT: I thought it would throw out a compile error. Now I remember why. Fixed.

    That has nothing to do with the issue itself. That simply displays the text in the chat when you hit the "value" option of the item while the store is open. It could, however, provide a link to the cause of the issue due to the fact that it DOES handle the prices at one point. I don't see what issue you're having, though. My items sell just fine... There's a prices.cfg in the data folder if you don't like the prices that ARE set up.

    The problem I'm having selling is a couple different things. No matter what it is, if you can sell it to a shop it says the shop will buy for 0 coins, and then when you sell it to the shop, it sells for 1 coin. I've already checked the prices.cfg and I even have this selling problem with items that have prices. The prices.cfg actually looks like it is more set up for the G.E. than anything.

    If anyone has the fix to where the shops will buy for more than just the 1 coin please help me.

    Still, there were quite a few poeple here asking how to edit the items stats. In soul split source I just had the edit the items.cfg and put the abbyssal whip to 9999. In zenithscape there is no items.cfg files to edit. What file do I have to edit?

    You may need to go and find where that "prices" part of the message is calculated. That's most likely the issue.
