    That's because all of those people have shown that they have the ability in the past.
    I think it's more to do with the difference in game concept. This post is about a bad graphic-no content game whose only claim to anything is that it's an engine written from "scratch"; so obviously the only thing people will care about is the engine design.
    Shouldn't be about the engine design.
    why is it, then, that the engine is the only thing about this game youve mentioned? design is key, a sloppy engine makes for a sloppy game.

    rendering pipeline is very neat and easy to use.
    model handling/transforming is a pain

    No player does. They expect the controls to be completely fluent, and will only critique the engine when it's bad.

    We comment on your game, not your engine. And the rotating sprites are shit, just make a sprites for diagonal movement and it might look a bit better.

    so i've been trying to figure out the best way to do camera control because i don't like the arrow keys.
    I've tried using the mouse wheel (not smooth at all for some reason), I tried click-drag camera rotation and it just didn't work because clicking will be needed for object/entity interaction.


    I tried making the Q and E keys rotate the camera because you can do it with the same hand that does the WSAD movement but it feels weird too
    im puzzled
