The Stain Team
Stain is an Old School Runescape botting platform that uses pixels to determine what to do next.
Many of you have probably seen some of my ongoing projects, such as Alchr and (Sassy) Lemur. These projects are open sourced, and currently are in fully working order. In fact, one particular member of the RS community is enhancing Alchr tremendously. However, that is another story; I'll cut to the chase. I am creating Stain as an ongoing closed-source project. If you are interested in joining the team please feel free to message me or Skype for more information.
Although the project code itself will be closed source, IT IS OPEN TO ALL WHO ASK
. I will keep this community updated with where it is going, plans, etc. If you would like to see the code for yourself, use it, enhance it, contribute, etc. You will have to be on the Stain team which is on GitLab. (Again just contact me for information on this if you're interested).
I plan on sticking with this project as my "long-term-project". Oh, if it matters the bulk of this will be written using Python. The main things that will be most important while developing: human like tendencies (some AI possibly), fail-safes, and the ability to be used over any client (can be run over RSBuddy or official Runescape client for example) to avoid bot detection.
The project - planning and design - will probably not be started until tomorrow however. If anyone can be added to the group why is it private?
I want to keep Stain as unofficial (but official) as possible. What I mean by that is basically not allowing large amounts of people having access to it so that Jagex notices it becoming this huge thing. Yeah, I know if people can download it they can do what they want with it, but I'd rather have it be invite only rather than just be open to everyone right off the bat... If that makes sense.MEDIA
