    Windows 10 Problems.
    « on: August 28, 2015, 10:55:03 PM »
    Problem One
When I turn off and on my pc all my icons get re-arranged anyway to stop?

The 'auto re-arrange' option isn't toggled on view or sort by any ideas?

    Problem Two
Why does it open separate programs from the pinned one. It's really annoying me how do I fix.

Don't know about the first issue, but I've had the second one before.  I find that if you open the program, and pin this newly opened 'tab', unpin the old one (that you originally clicked to open), then you can use the 'new' pin to open it every time and it should open in the same pin.
    Still lurkin'

Already tried that and it isn't working. Super annoying.

I believe the second issue happens because the icon you pinned is a shortcut to the actual application, instead of the direct path to it.
Not 100% sure but just what I think.

It also happens on windows 7 by the way.

Disabling prefetch/superfetch does a great job of fixing the cp spikes.

First problem Uncheck align to grid. Put your Icons where you want them and select Refresh.
Make sure you don't have auto arrange selected.

    Second problem

Sk8erdude should be spot on with this to add to this it may have something to do with the compatibility of certain  programs with the newer systems pinning functions. I've found if I tell it to be compatible with Vista it seems to fix it sometimes as well.
    I just don't care anymore.
