Visceral Games, a video game development studio part of EA, and mostly known for the Dead Space trilogy, is now developing the next game in Battlefield's series: Battlefield Hardline.  The game is going to be based off the war on crime and the battle between cops and criminals.


The game, along with many other details, will be announced at E3 2014.

What do you guys think about this?  Personally, I don't think it should be considered a Battlefield game.  And seeing how rocky Battlefield 4 still is after all this time, I don't have much hope for a new Battlefield, especially one revolving around something completely different.
