1) Cuando el desfile empezo, todos los ninos (esperaron/esperaban) al lado de las calles.
----- I picked esperaron because it is saying when the parade started, which only occurred once and not multiple times. I think ESPERARON is right but I just need some reassurance CORRECT
2) Nosotros (teniamos/tuvimos) cinco anos cuando (fuimos/ibamos) Nosotros (teniamos/tuvimos) cinco anos cuando.
----- For this one I chose teniamos because kids turn 6 ALL the time I chose fuimos because they only start school once. I am not sure at all on this one, any ideas? CORRECT
3) El escritorio que mi mama tenia de joven (fue/era) antiguo.
----- I chose era on this one, because... well it just sounds right lol. I have no idea which to choose on this one, help? "Fue" is correct because it means was which makes more grammatical sense.
4) Todos mis parientes (bailaron/bailaban) cuando llegamos a la fiesta.
----- I chose bailaban for this one because it says Todos, but I am also not entirely sure since it doesn't specify if the fiestas occur all the time or not. "Bailron" is right not Bailban.
5) Mi pariente favorito de nino (fue/era) mi Abuela Susana. "Era"
----- Also not sure which to choose for this one
6) Cuando (termino/terminaba) la clase, (habia/hay) muchos estudiantes emocionados The statement says "when class ended, there were many excited students. Use "termino" and "Habia".
----- Lost on this one as well
