    That error is caused due to you using a 377 cache rather than a 317 one. The client will work fine, but headicons do not work unless you fix the cache or make the client load headicons differently. The error can be ignored, however.

    Which server are you using?
    I've tried 3 different servers and get no response from loginserver each time and yes the server and client are both on port 43594
    Server sent these so it should be online

    melting looks stupid.
    it shouldn't melt on the scene window. either add it as a server type weather where it happens in game, or go back.

    it also looked dumb in the first video when you moved the camera. the snow shouldnt follow like that..

    You should run away from humanity and never look back. :)

    The snowing looks pretty cool, and I like the melting effect. It adds some nice detail. Obviously you'll have a hard time eliminating the 3D camera/2D graphics problem unless you place the snowballs in the game world, so don't worry about it. If you're having jittery issues, try picking a slope and just moving along it for a short duration or the entire fall, or maybe using some sort of bezier curves for more interesting (although maybe slightly unrealistic) falling patterns.

    Downloaded 7 servers and can only log in to 1 (The best Rsps To download V1 (317 PI)(Rswebclients compattible))

    Had to remove the crash packet first
    Then the client would print the T2 error many times. My character was invisible nor could I move
    If I comment out the line that sets the interface text (packet 126), I can move my character but they're still invisible

    Ambokile could you please upload your server and cache somewhere (not mega it doesn't work for me) :D

    Making the snow move as the camera moves shouldn't be all thaaaaat difficult. In fact, it seems like a fun little challenge.

    Thanks :) Not too sure how I would go about implementing a bezier curve for the falling pattern. Could you show me some examples?

    I forgot to mention - as this client lacks a lot of the modifications made to common modern clients (interfaces, items, etc), it will crash if you try to give the player a new item or show a new interface.

    This cache and server work perfectly for me:
    /file/iee12x7cpqkm85w/cache_and_server.zip

    I'm not entirely sure how it should move with the camera. (I know how to do it, but not sure how it should work).

    A very simple approach would just be to translate the snowflakes horizontally in the opposite direction of the camera's Y rotation, and vertically in the opposite direction of the camera's X rotation.

    The original refactor is good. But if you're at the stage where you're adding new features then please consider using feature toggles. :)

    Two steps to do so:
    1. Create the feature toggle class.
    Code: [Select]
    public class SnowflakeFeatureToggle {
      public boolean isFeatureEnabled() {
        return true;
      }
    }

    2. Whenever doing something related to the feature, check the toggle:
    Code: [Select]
    SnowflakeFeatureToggle toggle = new SnowflakeFeatureToggle();
    if (toggle.isFeatureEnabled()) {
      // Show the snowflakes
    }

    It means people can go through with an IDE to remove the feature easily if they just want the vanilla version of your refactored client.
    <&Speljohan_> i wouldnt want to live in a society where Mopman isnt monitored 24/7
