MoparScape's client is compatible with this. Awesome.
Only sources that I can think of that work with Mopar's client is Hyperion, RuneSource, and AllstarScape.
    ;(

This is bullshit. Doesn't work for my PI client...

Did you even read my post..?

    Yeah. I did.
You guessed on what to do, you didn't state what had to be done.

Unless you want to rewrite the editor to load 474+ data, be my guest, but until then you arent going to get anything besides a cache with 377 objects, maps, and animations to load.

Edit: Just looked, Its basically a client with alot of editorial features added, if the editor was open source, making it load higher revision data would be easy, but its not open source so bleh

If you look at the video I posted, you can see that he starts up the client just like you normally would :P

    I get what runewings gets.
I'm using my PI client's webclient cache.

    How do I fix it?

Amazing map editor btw, great job :)

of course a pi cache isnt going to work.. this is made to load a default 377 cache, not a cache with 474+ shit packed in it

So what client should I use?

A blank one.. They're released all the time.
Not true. Fire-PK (a server IDK if it's up anymore) was overloadX and they had custom maps.
    I'm back for now.

Ik the old version of the map editor worked with PI.

I haven't looked at the source, but if you look at the video I linked to ( 0:15 - 0:25) it looks like it has the same start up procedure as the client. Obviously I could be completely mistaken, but I haven't looked at it or downloaded it so meh, hasty decision making on my part :P Either way it's nice work.

EDIT - Yes, completely mistaken - https://code.google.com/archive/p/rename317/source startUp method
Definitely requires a lot of understanding of the protocol, unless this stuff has been done before (some of it seems familiar, I'm not sure what's been contributed in the past...)

I just found it funny is all. I stated that somebody was missing the Java guru, and you said, "Nah, it's not that difficult, it's more understanding the way Runescape packs maps and such". And now he has the badge. :P Along the lines of the complexity of doing what he achieved, it may be irrelevant.

Oh I see. Well personally I still stand by what I said, I thought Java Guru meant having a thorough understanding of the language, which usually requires more than just one field (thought this guy obviously knows his stuff in this field)

I'm just being wrong a ton today :(

Well, i know a lot about java, not just RSPS shit, and indeed the editor is based off the client and some methods inside EditorMain have been copy-pasted out of Client, but most of it is custom code, i have modified the engine to support arbitrary map sizes (not map file sizes, loaded region sizes), theres 4 fields for that in editor main: MapWidth, MapHeight,MapTileW and MapTileH, its set to 2x2 files (128x128 tiles) at the moment

Your naming for tile settings should be collision map as it has to do with as far as I know; clipped movement. Using the name settings is a bit incoherently incorrect considering it was MADE for the pallet plane but it's purpose could be defined just as a collision map.

Great work on the software. Looks like you took big chunks from the client :P

Yep, only purpose is to hold clipping flags n asorted data. Possibly bridges and fun stuff like that.

How much more of a load would the program be to possible increase that? Possible tripling that number?
I use the term 'Coon' in short for Raccoon, not a black person. IF I was insinuating on insulting a black person in such that I hunt them, there are MANY nicknames I can think of, but the simplest would be "AfricanHunter" or of the
