    I read through it, and found that you left out an important step. FIND THE STEP AND FIX THIS DAMN PROBLEM!
    What are you talking about?

    You guys are not zipping the cache right.

    There a video on my tutorial. Maybe if you guys actually read the tutorial you wouldn't get a single error.

    Next time, Read the entire tutorial and stop wasting my time with your stupid errors.

    when i edit my sign.java i only see

    Code: [Select]
        public final void run()
        {
            active = true;
            String s = findcachedir();
            uid = getuid(s);
            try
            {
                File file = new File(s + "main_file_cache.dat");
                if(file.exists() && file.length() > 0x3200000L)
                    file.delete();
                cache_dat = new RandomAccessFile(s + "main_file_cache.dat", "rw");
                for(int j = 0; j < 5; j++)
                    cache_idx[j] = new RandomAccessFile(s + "main_file_cache.idx" + j, "rw");

            }

    nothing like

    Code: [Select]
        public static final String findcachedir()
        {
            String s;
            String s1;
            File file;
            s = "C:/.yourclientname_file_store_32";
            s1 = "";
            file = new File((new StringBuilder()).append(s1).append(s).toString());
            if(file.exists() || file.mkdir())
            {
                return (new StringBuilder()).append(s1).append(s).append("/").toString();
            }
            return null;
        }

    If you're planning on using FileDen, and have a server with people willing to donate, I'd make about five accounts and host your cache on each one of them, then buying a silver, gold or diamond plan for one of them until the bandwidth exceeds, then buying the same plan for another account. That's how it works. I have 100GB of bandwidth right now. ;)
    40GB used up though, lol.

    How would people connect to my server using a webclient? (Sorry, I'm very noob at this since I was only interested in private server stuff since Friday.) Do I just send them a link to download or something?

    Went through the steps again..

    I actually watched all of the vids.. it would seem that I didn't zip the cache right, I redid it exactly according to the vid and everything else.. still no good..

    If anyone other than Ric has gotten this to work, PLZ! contact me so we can share notes. I have about 4 hours into this project.. lol

    Ric, I sent a PM.. I don't know if ya got it..

    Thanks

    Best answer i can give you is too delete the class files and recompile the java files:

    Quote
    @echo off
    del *.class
    pause

    if .class don't work then try .Class or w/e but idk.
