An interesting design, however the execution of the idea can be improved. I noticed how you mirrored the design underneath the model, however if you've ever looked at claws they're curved and spiked. I'd try applying this to the three spikes and making the rest either a guard or a bracer effect.
Can you show a ingame wear?
I've merged the topics as it is the same model, if you make updates please add them to the same post in the future.The second version looks a lot better, it gives it more of a claw effect now that you've shaped it properly. However, there i still places you could work on to save poly. Also, i would try experimenting with the sharpness of the claw. Take a look at some more claw models, examine them a bit and from more then one angle just to understand the shape. I know it sounds annoying but the only way to really hit a nail on the head is to know what it is and where to hit it, good luck with you next attempt and i'm still here if you need help or further questions.
