    Why Skarred?
         Skarred Lands is a RuneScape Private Server (RSPS) server from the 317 revision. It does have content from higher and more recent revisions, but it's not the newest. It still has an old-school feel to it, while not really being old school. What sets our server apart from others is how our server is ran. We put the community first, because if they're not satisfied, we're not. Don't be mistaken, though, because our updates are anything besides normal. One week we may just be updating some bugs, and the next week we could be releasing a new minigame or similar. We like to keep our players guessing, and our staff guessing a little more.

    An Important Message
         Our server is in a public beta right now. Which means two things (mostly). One is that all players must register on the forums to play. I know most people hate this requirement, and it is planned to be removed, but it is needed for the beta because it is important that players report any and all bugs to the staff, and having you on the forums already just puts you one step closer to doing that. Two, it means that our server isn't perfect. I will not guarantee your current experience as we are attempting to patch whatever bugs are left on top of adding new content and more updates.

    I've just pushed our first client update since beta started (Soon, eh?).
    I removed the little into screen, now you can login as soon as the client is loaded.
    I also fixed a bug causing the run orb not to work properly.
    Other minor updates were done but aren't important.

    Server updating coming shortly.

    it works now it wasnt loading before. logging into this i went and checked shops as most players would, but what i noticed was its the same shops that are there when you download the source maybe change the shops around a bit i mean fancy dress shop that has that boring colored robes and monk robes are so boring. and also horvic sells combat robes and spike sheilds ive never actually seen players buy this stuff. ill stay and give it a shot but just some advice is to change the shops there decent and not filled with junk no one likes that in a server we are all seeking something different not same old download play stuff

    it works now it wasnt loading before. logging into this i went and checked shops as most players would, but what i noticed was its the same shops that are there when you download the source maybe change the shops around a bit i mean fancy dress shop that has that boring colored robes and monk robes are so boring. and also horvic sells combat robes and spike sheilds ive never actually seen players buy this stuff. ill stay and give it a shot but just some advice is to change the shops there decent and not filled with junk no one likes that in a server we are all seeking something different not same old download play stuff

    I'm sorry about the shops.. I've never really got around to them. If you have suggestions on what we could put in place of those boring robes and such I'd love to hear it.
    I will work on the shops in the meantime, but community feedback does help :)

    Heh thanks. I wanted to add support for them drawing above the head but couldn't seem to get it.. Sadness. I'll have to try it again later.Eventually we'll have emoji's that work in all chat forms.

    It was actually pretty hard to figure out at first, but after I did it made me feel kinda dumb :P
    If you think the smilies are epic, you should take a look at Weapon Roulette. :)

    You could move the robes to a store where there's also that beret and the beret outfit (forgot what it's called, ele' or something), like all the skiller clothing in one store. I'll be coming round to check this server soon :D
    About 5-10 minutes after I responded about the shops I actually completely removed the "Hats and Robes store" and replaced it with a store I called "I wanna look fancy" because I added some ele cloths and some god cloths. I do want to make some more skiller/outfit shops so I'll definitely look into adding the beret (and a matching outfit :3).

    Also, I was talking to briney21 on the server yesterday. And we both think that I should abolish the "skilling zone". Or the general most of it. I really do like that idea because I like the idea of open-world training instead of in "dedicated zones". So I'm going to be doing more updates related to removing that zone (however I may do it).

    I also plan on adding more skill related stuff, because we all know that killin' shit is only half the fun.

    it is actually a pretty decent server once a few things get sorted out and it is the small things that do make a big difference. one thing i love is the custom weapon mini game any level can do it a level 126 can verse a level 3 skiller because both players attack strengh defence etc go to level 50 each and you fight with a random generated weapon wether that be a veracs flail to a bronze dagger it was very good fun playing that one. this server has great potential and i hope to be a long term player.

    Hrm... Everyone else seems to be connecting fine. Maybe you just had some bad luck? You could try again with the new client and see if it works :)

    Wrote my own server sided vote checker as GTL's stopped working.
    Fixed kicking players using the server console, it now does a more forceful kick.
    Fixed ::Tele command for owners (me, lol)
    Added new object handling to make objects spawn with their original rotation.
    Created a new gate handling system. I still have some kinks to work out and about 1000 gates to add. bare with me.
    Updated Dragon impling prices.
    Added closing to gate handler.
    Fixed admin/owner bank command.
    Finished Lumbridge-Drayor gates.
    Runecrafting - Fixed issue where it would give multiple runes off by 1.
    Added moulds to the skill shop (no where else to put em).

    You can use any recording software + photoshop to make GIFs
