    Ugh, I don't wanna be that guy but why are you using a premade homepage O_O
    using a premade theme is just a major turn off

    To be honest the only think stopping me from joining are the forums. You should use MyBB or something :3
    I honestly don't have a problem with either software but I have to admit, I'm not a fan of this theme... not to mention the postbit looks weird and looks extremely messy IMO.

    I will say though that I like the theme in terms of it being extremely dark, helps my eyes not die from exposure of the sun (lmao).

    SMF is nice and host a lot of potential it's just there isn't many great themes out there. The admin panel for mybb is great because you can make heavy modifications.

    and I highly dough it, but if you guys ever do switch to MyBB, they offer something that lets you transfer all your posts and what from smf to MyBB.
    Mybb is the superior freeware forum software.

    We definitely won't be switching to MyBB, we're all in love with SMF :).

    When it comes to the homepage, what do you think needs changed with it, and we can definitely talk about it and look into editing it.

    well it doesn't need changing. it's a new one, that homepage is used by many rsps's...

    Also, you guys are all in love with smf, but thats what you guys want, isn't it supposed to be about the community? :s

    Changing our forums now would be kind of silly. We are also most familiar with SMF over any other forum engine. It would also take a lot of unnecessary work to convert everything.

    We are all about our community but there are certain things we cant/wont do.

    Mybb has converters, more mods are available + themes, and more open to communicating with server-side.

    I already stated this in my above posts.

    It would take like 20 minutes to convert anything, and I can give you guys a sexy sexy sexy theme that I have that you guys could put to good use.

    Sorry, but like we stated before, we're really only interested in using SMF. It's what we've used since the beginning, and we really would rather focus on releasing content as opposed to fixing something that isn't broken.

    Thanks for the offer though!

    When I was doing Druidic Ritual I noticed that you weren't using the packet for recoloring text.

    Here's the packet from 377. Just type in the id of the line of text you want to recolor, and Color.YELLOW.
    Code: [Select]
    public static void sendTextColor(Player player, int childId, Color colour) {
          int r = (colour.getRed() >> 3) & 0x1F;
          int g = (colour.getGreen() >> 3) & 0x1F;
          int b = (colour.getBlue() >> 3) & 0x1F;
          PacketBuilder packet = new PacketBuilder(218);
          packet.putShort(childId);
          packet.putShortA((r << 10) | (g << 5) | b);
          player.write(packet.toPacket());
    }

    If you're using a 317 client it's this:
    Code: [Select]
    public static void sendTextColor(Player player, int childId, Color colour) {
          int r = (colour.getRed() >> 3) & 0x1F;
          int g = (colour.getGreen() >> 3) & 0x1F;
          int b = (colour.getBlue() >> 3) & 0x1F;
          PacketBuilder packet = new PacketBuilder(122);
          packet.putLEShortA(childId);
          packet.putLEShortA((r << 10) | (g << 5) | b);
          player.write(packet.toPacket());
    }

    It's used for coloring a string on an interface. Like coloring the quest name "Black Knight's Fortress" yellow or green. It's also used on a few mini-game interfaces that don't have configs in the 300 interface engine.

    Why is the site/server offline

    Our host is down. We've emailed, called, submitted tickets, and tried their live chat service and haven't gotten a response.
