My compiler is just deciding to not work...

any suggestions? I think that I might just need a new compiler code since it says I dont have JDK 5 or JDK 6 but i have downloaded both

    Is your JDK V12?
If not then change the 12 to your current version.

ok i figured that out and i changed a compile code and this is wat it says when i compile it

and it doesnt compile it the compile code is
    @echo off
    color 0a
    title ColossalScape Compiler
if exist "%programfiles%\Java" (call :compile "%programfiles%\Java\") else (goto error)
    :compile
    for /D %%x in ("%~1jdk*") do (set p="%%~x\bin\javac.exe")
    if defined p (%p% -cp . *.java)
    if defined p (goto end)
    :error
echo You do not have Java installed. Please download it at the site that is about to load.
    "%programfiles%\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/index.html

hey i got a compiler problem. on most of the sources it wont let me compile. but on crappy dodian/devolution type sources it will let me compile. but all the others wont (317's+) the compiler either just says "press any key to continue" or it says that i need the newest version of jdk and java etc. but i have the newest version so idk what the problem is. thanks.

anyway, allstar is old and unstable.

Hey guys, I just started out yesterday and I'm trying to make a moparscape server. I've done all the stuff I need. I can put the client up on-line, other people can join it but the thing I'm mad about is not being able to edit the server.

I've tried many different sources, I've changed the scripts in them, but the compile tool just doesn't seem to work in any of them. I've tried many of the codes you guys have given in the previous pages, but they just don't seem to work...  PLEASE HELP GUYS I'M REALLY DESPERATE!!

Well, i've looked at my variables and yours and the only difference i found was here:

    My code:
CLASSPATH in System Variables looks like this:
    Code: [Select]
    .;C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jdk1.6.0_14\bin;C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre6\lib\ext\QTJava.zip
Also, in User Variables my Path[u/] is capitalised like PATH and the path is:
    Code: [Select]
    C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_16\bin yours had a ; and mine doesn't.

Change any necessary directory names if you have to like "Program Files (x86)" for example.
I'm using win7 too btw, hope this works for you. :P
