On PortForwarding do you type your default gateway in?

run -> command.com or cmd -> ipconfig -all
    if vista /all

Yes you NEED to forward unless you dont have a router / gateway

no for portforwarding you type your IP address which should be 192.168.1.1 and this is only if you use a router with your pc or are using wireless if you only have 1 computer you just have to add a firewall exception because you don't need a router.
so sometimes you have to type your default gateway it depends on your modem(Internet Service Provider)ISP. Ex.
If you have comcast you dont have to type in the default gateway. but i don't know about others.

Well. did you make the server ip? Ie: Ownage.no-ip.biz? If not then please do it. If you did. then download NO-IP duc. If you have well open it, use the Email you used on No-ip "www.no-ip.com" ANd the pass. It will check for your hosts. It will then pop up click the box nxt to the smiley and if it smiles then you have done it. :)

Very nice tutorial, I was setup through this, but, from what I've read on 2 other guides before I seen this one,
is that you need a client and a source.
Any details on that I should know? o.o

Like, is the client AND the source both in the downloads?

I tried running the client from the 'run' batch file. I downloaded 'Tokkulscape 508 source V1'.

Sorry, this is the very first time I've attempted to setup a runescape client. Dx

Work with me if you don't mind and kinda help me out on any details I should know from here?

    I get an error message;

    "Starting server on port: 43594"

And it will stay like that untill I close the command prompt.

EDIT: Okay well, I looked again and now downloading Mezzy-Scape Client V3.5
I'm also downloading the source. So I spose that I put them both in the same folder?
I'll just do my own attempts untill someone posts.

Anyone willing to clarify things for me would be most helpful :D

EDIT 2: Alright well as far as I know the client 'worked' Like, I got the runescape loading screen but.
It keeps attempting to connect to an update server, which, for the moment I'm trying to get this to run on localhost.

Also, the client and the source are from the same page, I'm not sure WHERE I downloaded them BUT they are both Mezzy-Scape
The 2 folders aren't merged, their separate and the client will still load without an error other than not continuing after
    trying to update.

If someone would be willing to link me to another guide I could follow that would be great :D.

As for now I will post in a help section since it seems noone is really paying attention to this thread. :o

    Thanks,
    ~Rosie

    OK, I'm having trouble portforwarding.

I have the JDK, EV, Source, heck I've even coded a little. But I have a Verizon Modem connected to my CPU by ethernet.

    My router is a : GT704-WG.

I used to be able to portforward using utorrent, but it's not working now. And I don't know how to Do it through this new router. Someone help me please?
